Current Commissions

I'm working on...

• Hand crafted textile scrolls combining calligraphy and quilting, which
  showcase the client’s poetry.

• An unusual portrait of a client’s beloved cocker spaniel featuring whirling
  dervishes and fields of tulips.

• Throw cushions, embellished with hand painted and screen printed erotic
   imagery.

• Liner art for a CD to be released in April 2008, as part of a multi-media
   theatre production incorporating visual art, music and dance.

• Recently completed - Four large wall hangings for an eco-friendly
  laundromat, created from socks, underwear and other unclaimed laundry.

New Extreme Program
Art Gallery of Greater Victoria
Victoria, BC
During this 8 week program I will be mentoring young women at risk. We will be building “transformation masks” made of brightly coloured rags, found objects and wire, which will then be exhibited at the gallery. Date for the exhibit will be announced shortly.
